Both graduations took place in Annapolis, Md. Also includes photographs of a 1974 Naval Academy wedding.

Includes photograph of Petty Officer Evangeline Geraldine Bailey, the first woman musician in naval history. Includes a fragile 1942 clipping titled "The United States Navy Belong to the Entire Nation," where the AFRO reproduces a full page of original pictures and navy department records of the period when there was no color line on any warships. Includes a cut of the Navy's Cross.
